Last night I returned home from 2010 Stampin’ Up! Convention held in Salt Lake City. Tuesday I flew there via Southwest air while my hubby drove there. We met at the hotel at noon, attended convention together. Friday I packed everything up and he drove everything home so that I would not have to check it on the plane. He’s an amazing husband! I appreciate him so very much. He’s the best! While in Salt Lake City he drove us to the Cracker Barrel for dinner. Delicious! He and amazing Buster, our Boston Terrier, picked me up when the plane arrived in Oakland. We had a wonderful week. Now, please grab something cool to drink and enjoy the pictures I’m sharing during convention these past 4 days.

I booked a room for Stampin’ UP! convention at the Shiloh. We were on the 4th floor, it was very quiet and peaceful, the window looked down to the street and over to the Olive Garden restaurant. Everything in the room was perfect, the elevators ran as they should and we enjoyed the full complimentary breakfast each morning of eggs to order, bacon, biscuits, beverage. The hotel offers free shuttles to/from the airport.

I’m a BIG fan of TV’s The Learning Channel. Steve and Katie Hatch are TLC’s The Little Chocolatier’s. As soon as
my plane landed in Salt Lake City, I met Don at the hotel and we drove to visit the Little Chocolatier’s! This was THE BEST treat for me, to meet the stars of one of my favorite television programs and actually visit their chocolate store. It smells of yummy chocolate the minute you step inside the door.

Right on top of the chocolate display cases, please note the Gift Cards basket. I took a look at them and they are all Stampin’ Up! gift cards. Steve said his neighbor made them for the shop.

In the summer Hatch Family Chocolates makes delicious homemade ice cream in addition to their usual line of
WOW chocolates. Salt Lake City was very hot and the ice cream was so refreshing.

Here is my hubby, Steve and myself. If you’re ever in Salt Lake City, the Hatch
Chocolate Factory is THE place to stop.

Our convention lunch on Friday was very classy. Classy to include a printed menu!
