I received many beautiful birthday cards this year. Here are the ones made with Stampin’ UP products. I loved them all and thanked each person individually.
This first one is from my direct upline Denise Waddell.
Deborah Kingsbury (Deborah is a wonderful friend and customer. She is also a photographer who took a picture of her work cubby to create this one of a kind card. So pretty and unusual.)
Olive Barnes, my sideline! She and I share the same March 9 birthday.
I hope these thoughtful and beautiful cards inspire you to make someone a card today. ~Enjoy.
Recipe: 1″ circle head, 1 3/8″ circle body, small hearts for hands/wings, 3/4 square for the beak, large oval for the easter eggs. I put clear acetate in the window to give this card the appearance of the vintage sugar Easter eggs with a panoramic view. Loved how this turned out.
The diecut carrot seemed to be ‘lacking’ in texture so I ran the cardstock through a Tim Holtz texture folder he gave me at CHA. Perfect! I’ve made these for each lady attending my April workshop. Of course they’ll find chocolates tucked inside.
I did this card in a hurry and need to ‘redo’ the punched slot for the spinner baby chick. He spins perfectly, just not happy with the uneven look I punched so early in the morning.
Simple, easy to complete and I was so very happy with the results. Frame bought at IKEA, all other products in current mini Stampin’ UP catalog.
