Here is an ‘up close’ shot of the cute little chicken treat box. So cute!

Recipe:

Bigz Fancy Favor box die cut to hold your treats. Ribbon for handle.

Large scallop die cut for head, 1″ circle punch for white and yellow parts of eyes.  3/4″ punch for black part of eyes; white uniball pen for the little white spot on the black part of eye. Scallop punch (1) cut in half for arms, 5 petal flower punch for ‘hair’, modern label punch (cut this in half) for the two feet.  I freehand cut a folded triangle for the beek.   Note: To make a girl chick, place the bow on the head, to make a boy chick place a bow under his on the bottom of the large scallop head to be a bowtie.

I received alot of comments about this cute chick.  Thanks for visiting.

I received a heavy ‘mystery’ box this week from my artist friend, Patti Lee. It was carefully packed with alot of bubble wrap.

Wow, Patti cut, decorated these big letters. She did a beautiful job (as always). They are pretty heavy, filled with sand for stability to stand. The ‘G’ measures 6.75 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends. So thoughtful. They are a great addition to my stamp/craft room. Thank you Patti!
