I took over 400 pictures during our week to DC and NYC. The following few photos randomly express our fun time in DC. Later I’ll post pictures of our days in NYC.

Our hotel was conveniently located in the heart of DC. I highly recommend it!

Amazing day of visiting museums. So many museums, so little time!

I love to make soap and I just had to buy some of these beautiful soaps and take pictures of them all. They were in a Whole Foods store in DC. Beautiful soap!

Here we’ve finished our few days in Baltimore and DC and are at Amtrak where we took the train to NYC.

Katie arranged for a limo to pick Kyle & I up when we landed Saturday evening in Washington, DC. Kyle thought it ‘awesome’ and ‘just like the movies’ to see our name on the card and wanted his picture taken with our driver.

This is a good closeup of our yummy dinner. Cheese tortellini in creamy mushroom sauce, tossed green salad, rolls, butter, and cheesecake. Delicious!

Our Saturday dinner included cheese tortellini in mushroom sauce, salad, rolls, butter and cheesecake. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal and arrived in DC, happy and satisfied at the end of our flight.

Kyle thoroughly enjoyed his fresh baked cookies while flying to Dallas, on our way to DC. The 10 year old never complained during the entire 6 hour flight, including changing planes in Dallas. He enjoyed every moment of his amazing summer vacation.

We were served lunch during the flight from SFO to DFW. Kyle thought his chicken salad was the yummiest ever! The servings were humongous but he ate every bite.
